About me

Andreas Katsikoudis has been working as a primary school teacher since 1999. He has studied photography, as well as filmmaking . He has been teaching seminars on photography, film and history of art for adults. As a photographer, he has had two solo exhibitions and he has founded the photography group Diafragma 26. As a filmmaker, he has created 12 short movies that almost have all been screened at festivals. In 2020 he created the full length documentary "WHY PHOTOGRAPHY"? (it has already been screened in two Greek festivals). He has published a book of poetry and in two books about photography are about to be published in 2021. He has organized and curated many group exhibitions of art and photography. He writes articles for the monthly magazine Photonet and other online magazines.
